Religious belief can inspire both selfless acts of kindness, and senseless acts of violence. At the heart of most religions are notions of love and compassion, and yet, these same religions are sometimes used to justify acts of cruelty. These trophies point out the absurdity of this contradiction; they are prizes for the most renowned perpetrators. Each trophy has been finished with gold spray paint in order to enhance its superficiality and cheapen its appearance.
